How To Vote

You can vote by post, or in person in advance of election day, if you expect to be out of the island or otherwise committed on polling day, or if you have a physical illness or disability that prevents you from attending.
If any of these circumstances affect you, and you want to apply to vote by post or in person in advance, you need to complete the applicable application form and return it to the Judicial Greffe.
If you have applied for a postal vote the Judicial Greffe will send you a ballot paper, which you must complete and return, either in person or by post by the relevant deadline. A Pre-Poll elector will have to attend at the office of the Judicial Greffe. Application forms to register as a Postal or Pre-Poll Voter will be available for each election from the Parish website, the Judicial Greffe website, and nearer to the time from the Jersey Library and the States Bookshop.
If you apply to vote in this way you are disqualified from voting in person on Election Day.
